The weather has been very changeable . Yesterday it was incredibly warm and sunny. We had a wonderful round of golf at Gullane with the Bowes then returned to their garden afterwards for drinks in the evening sun. Bliss. We are now allowed to meet another couple outside!
Today was very different. We were playing with Tom & Clare Walker on Muirfield but we only managed 9 holes as it was very very windy and cold. They came back for a picnic lunch in our garden – under the new outside wall radiator which helps!
BUT the rockery is looking springlike. The buds are emerging on the hawthorn trees and a few wild flowers are appearing.
