Finding life beside the sea through the year

At the beginning of lockdown in March I started walking with my dog every day along the beach. As access is not always easy it was usually deserted. As I walked I began to see how many different birds there are. Some are there the whole year round while some are seasonal. I also began to notice the variety of wild flowers growing among the sand dunes. I felt very ignorant on both counts. I decided to write a regular blog with photos and with my attempt at identification ( with the help of Apps on my phone). I hope my attempts will either be confirmed or corrected.
