This has been a good day. We had our 2nd Covid vaccinations today – no apparent side effect. Then off to see our son, John & Liz & Erin for the first time in months. We had to sit outside so I was glad it was sunny.
We had a picnic lunch at Flotterstone. The car park was absolutely full – everyone delighted to be able to get outside. I took the dog for a walk later to the beach – lovely sunny evening but biting east wind. No birds to be seen! But I did see 2 deer very close – not at all worried by me or the dog. I think they feel the land is theirs after the last year and humans are the intruders.
The hawthorn trees are about to burst into blossom.
